The recent introduction of tighter environmental laws (such as the Air Quality Law, Urban Transportation Plan - PDU, and SRU Law) has meant that companies and local authorities must acknowledge the effects of their transport and mobility policies.
Mobility+ offers its expertise to public and private organizations in order to help them develop an optimal transport policy. A range of services are available that enable the behavior of users involved to evolve in a suitable way.
Mobility+’s objectives are to help companies and organizations within the community to deal effectively with factors that are sometimes discounted, such as accessibility, environmental pollution, integration of the workforce and the community, safety of transport / road safety, population transport, and the economic and logistic rationalization of the available transport.
Mobility+ currently has a team of some consultants and four associates whose skills complement one another and enable a multidisciplinary approach. We have experts in the fields of environmental management, behavioral psychology within the workplace, corporate and public communication, air quality, town planning and urban development and business administration. With a view to enabling our clients to develop complete autonomy in their transport policy, we offer the following services:
Mobility and Accessibility Diagnostic
The success of a new transport and mobility policy depends above all on an in-depth knowledge of the factors involved, and of any negative effects that can be foreseen and thus compensated for within the new plan.
For us the objectives of a mobility and accessibility diagnostic are two-fold, requiring both the research of improvements to the accessibility of a site and also the optimization of the employees behaviour during their home to work or professionnal trips to and from the site. This is accomplished using an innovative technique that involves numerous fields and a wide range of expertise.
Today many organizations are concerned with these issues, amongst them private companies, administrative bodies, business parks, hospitals, educational establishments, municipal departments etc.
Alternative Mobility Services
Mobility+ can develop solutions for specific cases. The emphasis is always on finding an alternative to workers driving empty cars to work, and instead finding a shared approach that optimizes the pattern of movement (inter- and multi-modality).
These solutions involve travelling by bicycle, shuttle service, by requested transport, car-sharing, the improvement of access to public transport, and the use of cleaner vehicles. There is also research into ways of reducing travel, such as working from home, and the provision of services and other facilities close to the work place.
Mobility+ offers mobility and transport training sessions, and can also set up an internal program with interesting interactive campaigns, and all the necessary documentation.
Studies and Research
Mobility+ also supported and coordinated different cross-sections of projects in alternative sustainable mobility that involve international studies and studies of specific types of transport or user behavior.
